Bidders are required to submit ethanol supply quantities in kilolitres (KL), categorized by feedstock and specified on a quarterly basis.
Feedstocks: The ethanol must be produced from various feedstocks, including sugarcane juice, sugar, sugar syrup, B-heavy molasses, C-heavy molasses, damaged food grains, surplus rice sourced from the Food Corporation of India (FCI), and maize.
Pricing: The ethanol will be procured at the prevailing rates during the ESY 2025–26, as determined by the OMCs or the Government of India.
Geographical Allocation: The procurement is structured into zones, with specific states and union territories grouped together for allocation purposes.
Allocation Methodology: If the total quantity offered by all participating vendors for a quarter is less than the total requirement of OMCs for that quarter, the entire quantity offered by the vendors will be considered for allocation. The cluster-wise requirement will be reduced proportionately to ensure equitable allocation across all locations nationwide.
