New Delhi / Doha, October 2025 – India’s Commerce and Industry Minister, Piyush Goyal, is slated to visit Doha next week to initiate formal bilateral trade agreement talks between India and Qatar. move adds Qatar to the growing list of Gulf nations negotiating trade treaties with India. The UAE already enjoys a trade pact with India, and with this new initiative, New Delhi aims to deepen economic engagement across the Gulf region.
