🌶️📈 India’s Spice Exports Surge in FY 2024–25 with Impressive Growth! www.asiaagrifood.com

India’s spice exports have registered a robust growth during the financial year 2024–25, reflecting strong global demand for Indian spices. According to data released by the Spices Board of India, the country’s spice exports increased by 17% in quantity, compared to the previous financial year (2023–24). In value terms, exports grew by 8% in rupee terms and 6% in dollar terms. The growth indicates sustained international demand for Indian spices across major global markets. India, known as the “Spice Bowl of the World,” exports a wide range of spices including chilli, cumin, turmeric, pepper, cardamom, and spice oils and oleoresins.

The higher growth in export volume compared to value suggests increased shipment quantities, while moderate value growth reflects price trends and global market dynamics during the year. The Spices Board highlighted that the performance demonstrates the resilience of India’s spice sector and its expanding footprint in international trade.
