Kyrgyzstan’s sugar production has shown strong growth in 2025, with its value crossing 1,803 billion soms, according to new data from the National Statistical Committee, reports 24.kg. Between January and July 2025, the output was valued at 1,803,587.7 billion soms at current prices. Officials said this figure is much higher than last year, when the industry was almost inactive.
At the same time, the report from the National Statistical Committee did not provide figures for the actual physical volume of production, leaving it unclear how much of the growth came from increased output and how much from higher prices
