In a major step toward strengthening India’s bio‑fuel supply chain, the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Maize Research (IIMR), Ludhiana, has developed an innovative intercropping system that integrates sugarcane with short‑duration maize.
