Vietnam, the world’s leading cashew processor and exporter, has set an ambitious export target of USD 4.5 billion for the 2025–2026 marketing year (MY26). The country continues to dominate the global cashew industry by processing more than 90% of its Raw Cashew Nuts (RCN) through imports sourced mainly from African producing nations.
With strong global demand, advanced processing infrastructure, and efficient export networks, Vietnam remains a key player in the international cashew trade. Industry experts expect stable supply chains and favorable market conditions to support the country’s export growth in MY26.
The rising demand for processed cashew kernels across major markets such as the United States, Europe, China, and the Middle East is also expected to strengthen Vietnam’s position in the global nut industry.
