This comes shortly after maize cultivators raised their voices over issues related to pricing, procurement delays, and insufficient support mechanisms. Black gram farmers across several districts allege that they are facing severe losses due to falling market prices, lack of government intervention, and inadequate Minimum Support Price (MSP) enforcement.

They have warned that continued inaction could lead to protests if farmers’ issues are not addressed promptly. Officials, however, have stated that steps are being taken to resolve the issue and streamline the procurement process. 🌾🗣️
