Sugar Ethanol Bioenergy Int- Sugar mills in Maharashtra earned Rs. 6,378 crore from ethanol sales during the 2024–25 crushing season, according to details shared at a high-level ministerial committee meeting held at Mantralaya on Tuesday. The meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, finalised the policy for the upcoming 2025–26 sugarcane crushing season, which is set to commence on November 1, 2025.
