Sugar Ethanol Bioenergy Int- Sugar mills in Maharashtra earned Rs. 6,378 crore from ethanol sales during the 2024–25 crushing season, according to details shared at a high-level ministerial committee meeting held at Mantralaya on Tuesday. The meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, finalised the policy for the upcoming 2025–26 sugarcane crushing season, which is set to commence on November 1, 2025.

SUGAR ETHANOL BIOENERGY INTERNATIONAL- Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari emphasized the economic advantages of ethanol production on Monday, stating that farmers have generated an additional Rs. 45,000 crore by producing ethanol from corn.
